Verizon cancelled my order for a device upgrade without warning or notice. I understand inventory changes during the holidays, but rather than issuing a full refund to my original form of payment, Verizon proceeded to pay off my devices and issue me an account credit for the remaining value. When I expressed that this wasnโt what I authorized or what I wanted to customer service, I was told that they couldnโt help me. I spoke to an agent in more than a 40 minute conversation on the phone, texted with another agent for more than 2 hours, and even went to the store that cancelled my order and no one could help me. At one point, a support agent even told me I should ask my bank for a refund, despite the fact that Verizon was the one that cancelled the order. I just want my order refunded to my original form of payment - this request seems so reasonable to me and yet Verizon is unable to help. What am I missing here that entitles a company to not issue me a refund to my original form of payment after they cancel an order?
