I went on google to see if anything like this happened to me and I see quite a few including yours. So this is what I found out. After FedEX said that no one was home to receive it and it would be rescheduled to the next monday, I called them saying my son was home and my two ring cameras outside shows no one at the door that day. FedEX then tells me that they are sending it back because Verizon reported a fraud. I called Verizon and they had no idea what I was talking about so we did a conference call with FedEX and Verizon. Verizon asked them if they requested it back, then why was it showing they would reschedule delivery to Monday. FedEx couldn't answer that and said it was being shipped back. Two hours on the phone FedEx finally told Verizon and me that it would be sent to me on Monday. So Monday rolled around and it was almost at my house when I got the same notice that Verizon reported fraud and having it sent back to them. I called FedEx and they said they can't trust anyone on the phone and an email from Verizon's fraud department has to come to proceed with shipping it to me. I called Verizon again and talked to their fraud department. They said there is no record of fraud and they can't send an email if they have no case number. So again we confronted called with Verizon and FedEx and FedEx told us both need an email Verizon explained they can't because they never submitted fraud so there's nothing to submit. Verizon then pointed out once again to FedEx, if it's being sent back for Fraud, why is the tracker showing it will attempt to ship to me again the next day and again FedEx had no answer. After two hours of that call, I finally asked Verizon to just let FedEx send it back and i'll just pick the dang phones from a store. The problem was the new phones with FedEX had our account and phone number attached and a new phone could not be issued to me until those were returned. It's due to return to Verizon today after Verizon had to request it, even though FedEx said it was being returned SMH, and then we will issue new phones for me to pick up. It's all FedEX and they really ticked me off on this. Something up with their system.
