What's the big idea here? Why the heck is Verizon holding back from giving senior citizens their well deserved discount here in California? I doesn't make any sense . Pease explain. We're all hearing aids.

I have no idea why Verizon doesn't offer a 55+ discounted plan for everyone, but it's only in Florida. You could try a certain competitor who DOES have 55+ discounts on all their postpaid plans, but be warned I think there's a hidden catch with it: Paying less means your service is going to be less too. As in, terrible signal strength indoors and you only get low-band 5G which runs slow. I gave up on it after only 3 days and the store manager told me I would not be billed for porting out again so soon. Guess what? He lied, because my bank account was drafted for a month's service just a few days ago. So now I've paid twice for my one line in this month. Argh!
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
