Amazon Gift Card Promotion

Hello, 

Does anyone else feel like Verizon is trying to avoid distributing and upholding the promotional Amazon Gift Card from November 2023?? I signed up during that time and when I picked up my router, the employee said the gift card would show up in 2-3 billing cycles. After not receiving it during that time, I contacted Verizon through their chat service three times and each person said they were putting a ticket it, it was being expedited, but I never received the gift card. Called a few days ago and they said a ticket was never put in, but that they would and it would take 15-30 business days for an email to arrive.... Has anyone actually received this mysterious promotional Amazon gift card? I feel like Verizon is using delay tactics in the hopes that I'll forget about it.

Thank you for your response. Even though we did not fully connect, I received the gift card today and was able to activate it. I wish this didn't need to escalate to a public forum, but I didn't feel heard and was getting conflicting information through chat and over the phone. I'm very glad this is finally resolved, thank you.

Great to hear you got the gift card @JCM53414 .  Unfortunate that it took several months, but better late than never.

Your experience with receiving conflicting information with different Verizon representatives is not unique.  ☹️ I have often wondered if there is no easy way for different departments within the company to communicate with each other and therefore, confusion occurs among other things.  And why redeeming promotional offers is such a hassle?  Things which are run through 3rd parties I can see might take some time, but the IT issues with not seeing tiles to click on in your Verizon account as an example - that's on Verizon.  Other stuff like the switcher rebate process is a joke.  Why they can't simply give customers that rebate as a credit to their account straight up upon switching...???  Verizon, are you listening?

Thank you for helping! I saw that, but it looked like there was not much recent activity and the resolutions in the thread didn't help me unfortunately.  My post on the community forum seems to have done the trick though, I got the gift card today and was able to activate it.
