I'm wondering how many other people have had trouble redeeming promotions that we were told about in store. I was told about a promotion that would include a $300 Target gift card after 3 months of service. I went into the store when the promotion wasn't showing up on my account after 3 months and they couldn't figure out why the promotion wouldn't be showing up on my account but there was nothing the store could do about it and I would need to call Verizon. So after weeks of unhelpful phone calls and community messages I was finally told that my account is only eligible to receive a $50 gift card. Online they've told me that there was never a $300 gift card promotion in the first place (my wife and I were both in the store and confirmed multiple times that this upgrade would result in a $300 gift card), they also had a $200 gift card but my account "isn't eligible" for that one.
Has anyone else had experiences like this where you're told one thing until you make the purchase and then once your account is set up they don't honor the promotion that you were told about?
