Does anyone know why a blocked number would show up on a received text log? I didn't receive the text, but it looks like I did.

I donโt know if itโs happening with every message that he sends since he is blocked. I just noticed when reviewing my bill that this specific person is showing up even though I know for a fact he was blocked on my phone.
If you go to your account on the Verizon app then go to usage, click on history then click on the phone number you want to review, finally, click on messages log.
He shows up 5 different times under messages received even though I never received any messages from him.
