Can't access account while overseas due to 2FA issues

Saw someone else had this problem and trying to find a solution as well. I am currently overseas and trying to access my Verizon account and help but  I am stuck in an endless cycle being caused by the only option for 2FA being SMS text message. (see other post here https://community.verizon.com/t5/General-Products-Services/Cannot-login-to-Verizon-Account/td-p/1468...)

The response on the other persons issue w/ Verizon won't work as you won't be able to check messages in the Verizon account w/o being able to log in.

- I have to sign in (which I can't do, hence why I'm here) in order to talk to a live agent via chat.

- I can't have Verizon support call me, because, again, I have to be logged in to begin with.

- When I go to reset my password, I get the attached error.

- I have access to my email, my phone (can receive messages over wifi, but NOT SMS as used in 2FA), and set up face recognition for login on my Verizon account. For some reason, it still won't let me login.

- I do not have easy or frequent access to a DSN phone to make an out of country call to an 800 number.

- Can someone help on an alternate mechanism to get into my account? Thanks.
