Can't add/update nickname to phone numbers on Verizon website

I have always been able to log into my account and go into each phone numbers usage and update the number with a nick name.  This is incredibly helpful with work so that I know how many times a customer has to call.  I need this feature lol.  Now I am unable to enter in a nickname.  The box pops up but it doesn't accept any input.  If I hit ok or even the x to cancel it takes out the number and shows the last letter typed.  You can't erase it.  

I have cleared cookies, changed browsers, tried on my iphone as well as my desktop.  

PLEASE Help.

The feature has been squirrely for years and has been out of commission again for a few weeks, there's several threads on the forum about it such as:
