Can we no longer schedule a call back from customer support?

I am trying to get a hold of customer support over the phone but it seems that is near impossible now. Every phone number associated with verizon uses the "digital assistant" who forces you to use the chat option instead of talking to someone.
Is this what has become of verizons customer support now? If so, glad im leaving..

Did you get this resolved? I've gone round & round with their 'chat' . Their call back feature won't accept the checked phone number for a call back so that's useless too. I don't know of any other company that does't allow their customers to actually speak to a person.

I experienced the same issue in June 2025, so the problem remains unresolved. Every day this week, I have been using their "Chat" service and trying to follow up on a hotspot device they were supposed to send me as a replacement and have spent up to 8 hours in one night trying to figure out what is going on. It is all but impossible to talk to a real person anymore and this service is terrible. I tried finding the option on the app the recording told me about to schedule a callback, but I could not find it anywhere and anytime you call for support you are on hold forever now. Then when I do finally get someone on the phone, I can barely understand them. Every day on the Chat, they tell me the problem has been resolved but when I chat again the next day, it is back square one and they have no record of my order. It is time to find another provider for all of my devices. as my time is worth much more than this.
