I am trying to cancel the $10 per day plan and the chat feature isn't working. I only get an error message. When I try to call the phone hangs up immediately. What can I do?

Hi mrbledsoe.  You have come to the right place.  We can assist with managing your account.  Must be exciting to travel.  Have you arrived back in the US or still abroad?  Please reply to the private message that will follow so we can discuss steps and options to retain your privacy.

How do I reply to a private message? I'm still abroad. Why cant you just post the instructions to get chat assistance or to turn off the international plan?

Private messaging is a great way to talk privately with other community members or Verizon representatives.  If your question is one that would require sensitive account information that is against the Verizon Community Terms of Service: http://spr.ly/6606TzaY6, you may be asked to send a private message to a Verizon representative to help you reach a resolution.

To send a private message, click on the username of the user you want to message and click โ€œSend message.โ€  You will also find the same link on a userโ€™s profile page. This will start a new private message with the account you selected as the recipient.  From here, all you need to do is compose your message and hit โ€œSend Message.โ€

Please tell us more, what occurs when you attempt to use the chat option? Are you attempting to remove an international plan or restrict global usage on your phone?

Hello, mrbledsoe, I'm sorry that Private Message didn't go through. You can remove the TravelPass feature via the My Verizon app by selecting the Account tab>Plans>your phone number>International Plans. On the next page, scroll to your number and click the link to Remove Plan next to TravelPass.

If you happen to have access to My Verizon via the website, you can manage your plan here: https://www.verizon.com/digital/nsa/secure/ui/cpc/#/. Click International Plans then Remove Plan in the section for TravelPass next to your phone number.

The chat feature still isn't working. When I call Verizon the call doesn't go through.  I followed the instructions that were provided and there isn't an option to remove the Travel Pass. I was charged but a Travel Pass yesterday despite using a sim card from a different company. I worry that I'm still be charged for text messages that I'm unable to read. How do I get these issued resovled?

I later found out that this information wasn't correct. Why can't I get accurate information from reps?
