am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the handling of a recent matter that has not only severely impacted my credit score but also resulted in derogatory comments on my credit history, causing significant financial harm.

Several months ago, Verizon solicited my neighborhood offering a non-obligatory trial of your 5G internet service. Despite my reluctance, I accepted the offer to assist the agent in earning their commission. The agreement was clear: if I chose not to continue the service, I simply had to return the equipment. I followed these instructions and promptly returned the device to Verizon via USPS, and I still have the tracking number as proof of shipment.

However, a few months later, I began receiving calls from Transworld Systems regarding an alleged outstanding debt for this trial. After some back-and-forth and providing them with the USPS tracking number, it was acknowledged that the device had indeed been received by Verizon. I was informed that there was an internal issue at Verizon’s warehouse that caused this confusion. Transworld Systems ultimately corrected the issue, and the derogatory comments were removed from my credit report.

Despite this resolution, I was shocked to receive another letter from a different collection agency, Credit Control LLC, for the same claim, demanding $214. I provided them with all the details of the previous resolution, yet they refused to reach out to Verizon and have since reported this supposed debt to the credit bureaus, further damaging my credit score. This has caused me severe financial strain, particularly when attempting to secure financing for a car loan, which was denied solely due to these derogatory remarks.

I am beyond frustrated with the inability to get this matter resolved. I have made numerous attempts to contact Verizon directly, but my efforts have been in vain. Furthermore, any communication with Credit Control LLC has proven fruitless, as they refuse to acknowledge the error and rectify the situation with Verizon.

 

This has been an exhausting, stressful, and costly ordeal. I demand that Verizon immediately intervene to correct this error, remove all derogatory comments from my credit report, and ensure that Credit Control LLC retracts their claims. This situation has dragged on long enough and has had an unjustifiable impact on my financial standing. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue through additional legal avenues, including contacting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and seeking legal counsel.

I have email communication with Transworld Systems,  and proof from UPS that Verizon  received the device.

I expect to hear back from you promptly to resolve this issue once and for all.

How can I cancel dispute my collection Verizon Wireless bill because I am on lower money income from disability payments and I can’t and cannot afford $ 2,350.48 and I don’t haves any money to mail out a dispute paper work the mail person keeps sending it back in my mailbox box so I used black nail polish to remove my address 233 Halstead Avenue Mamaroneck New York Zip code 10543 that’s also the disability senior citizens lower income disability address where I am living at right now as we speak 🗣🗣🗣🗣

Hello Erika114. I'm really sorry you're going through this. If your account has already been sent to collections, we no longer have access to it, and you'd need to work directly with the collection agency. If you're not sure, I'd be happy to take a look and see what we can do from our side.

This happens when an internet online bad people money stealers do this to you and me!!!!!!! From 2024-2025 and yes 2015 too bad people money stealers won’t leave me alone forever ️
