Data Usage Going Up All of a Sudden

I'm on the Verizon Plan Single Smartphone 5GB plan and in the past 6 months, Verizon has increased my phone bill and tried to get me to upgrade to the unlimited plans which I don't want to do because I don't use enough cellular data to justify increasing my phone bill. Now, all of a sudden, in the past two cycles, my data has increased. I usually have a lot of carryover data and last month all 5GB and my carryover data were used. This cycle, I have 21 days left in the cycle. Last night, My Verizon said I had 63% of data left for the month and this morning it says 57% of data left...I have not left my house since last night. The cellular setting for Wifi Assist, Cellular Roaming, Personal Hotspot, and all cloud related apps are turned off...background data refresh only works off Wifi. The usage stats on My Verizon says "gaming" is taking up 39% of my usage...but I have no games on my phone and I haven't downloaded any new apps aside from Poshmark and eBay which shouldn't fall under gaming apps. I also have not used those apps as much as my social media apps. I just reset my statistics in my iPhone Cellular settings to monitor this. I know I'm thinking out of paranoia at this point but I can't help but feel that this is yet another attempt to get me to move toward unlimited plans. Has anyone without an unlimited data plan noticed a random spike in their data usage lately despite them not using that much data?

I downloaded the data log from last month and the Data Usage sizes seem really small. They don't seem to add up to 5GB+ at all to me...I'm not totally techy so I might be looking at it wrong but none of this makes sense to me. Customer service has not been helpful.
