I believe summer of 2023 VZW starting outsourcing their Tier 1 & Tier 2 customer service. I’m not able too understand people with non American accents. I have dyslexia. I have difficulty understanding people with accents because of their PHONOLOGICAL deficit, which makes it hard to process and manipulate sounds.
I have brought this to VZW attention and still not have access to speak to a On Shore VZW wireless representative
Phonological Deficit: People with dyslexia have trouble accessing phonological representations of words, which can make it hard to distinguish small sound differences, remember what was herd, and keep up with speech.
Connecting Sounds To Words: People with dyslexia have difficulty connecting sounds to words, and words to their meanings.
Identifying Speakers Voices: People with dyslexia may have difficulty identifying speakers’ voices because they have trouble connecting the sound of words with their meaning,

People with dyslexia (ME) struggle to understand people with accents because my brain has difficulty processing subtle sound differences in speech, a condition often linked to a phonological processing deficit, which makes it hard to distinguish between similar sounds within words, including those variations present in accents: essentially, my brain may not easily decode the unique sound patterns of accented speech
