One of my posts with the "disconnected account login" URL was marked by a moderator as being the correct link, with notation from the moderator that one must use their User ID, not the phone number, in order to login. However, the website itself asks for the 10-digit mobile number to be entered in the first box, not the User ID. If one should not be using the phone number, shouldn't that first field be changed to say "User ID" instead? I'm wondering if this is why threads appear regularly reporting that a disconnected account "can't be accessed", because that would be a huge source of confusion.
This is the link I'm referring to:

Hello, you can access your final bill quickly and easily in My Verizon for up to 180 days past your disconnection. If 180 days have past, youโll have to use this link to view your bill online ,

Someone just told me in another thread that you cannot enter letters in the first field of the URL ๐ and I know I've read numerous posts from former customers saying you can't use the number which was ported out either, because obviously, Verizon no longer has control of said number if you've ported out. So...Verizon...what's the solution to getting into anything associated with a disconnected account?
