Enough is Enough

How can Verizon do this to their customers? I received a letter in the mail, stating that, in essence, if I don't switch to their "My Plan" I will be charged an extra $15.00 per month. I have been a Verizon customer forever, am a senior citizen, and have my phone for emergencies. No services for loyalty or senior citizen rates. I stream nothing. Just call and text, and I guess I'm paying for data. Whatever. One would say "Verizon, haven't you learned your lesson after your mega lawsuit?". But you continue on and raise prices...is this to re-coup any losses from that? I highly doubt it. Oh, and many people will thank you for the $9.00 - $12.00 back from that lawsuit. Big deal. You didn't lose squat. I think customers should take a stand again against Verizon and demand lower prices and better service, both with customer service and connectivity services. If you are lucky enough to speak with someone or even the chat line, you may receive a scripted reply and the same 'ol same 'ol. I'm ashamed to have Verizon as my carrier and this will soon, very soon come to an end. Shame on you Verizon! Do you ever read any of these discussions and realize how many people really dislike your services? I believe the answer is a big NO.
