I broke my phone on a Wednesday, let's just state right now there was not a scratch on the screen.

Failure 1. I went into the store, the employee did my claim, entered that the screen was cracked caused the claim to be denied. Again. Not cracked at all. 

Failure 2. Attempted to contact customer service by phone. Again, said screen was cracked when I never said that and it was denied again. Finally on the second day I was promised a phone by 7 pm Friday. No phone on Friday because again they said the screen was cracked when it wasn't and it was denied. 

Failure 3. Finally got a new phone, it's refurbished.  Promised it went thru all kinds of testing before shipping. Pretty sure I received it in the exact same condition Verizon did because it does not work. 

Failure 4. Called Saturday to get this phone situation resolved. Promised a phone by 7 Monday. No phone Monday so I checked status, delayed because screen is cracked. Are you flipping joking. 

Failure 5. Now promised a working phone in 2-3 days and for the inconvenience Verizon offered $3 off a month for 12 months. Please. Tell me what 10¢ a day is doing for anyone. Insulting is putting it mildly. 

 

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since this started. If I want to know how you can make it better, you should have just done better. I have a job too. I need a phone. To bad Verizon doesn't care. 10 years on this plan, 5 phones on the contract. We will be looking into other companies. I would rather have less service spots than go thru this ever again. It's so sad to see the absolute lack of pride in ones job in every industry these days.
