Found my lost watch — how to get it off the lost/stolen list?

We lost an Apple Watch with cellular service several months ago and reported it as lost. Miraculously we found it recently and would like to pass it on to another family member. What is the easiest way to get the IMEI number off of Verizon's lost/stolen list so that we can re-activate it with another number? Is there a form online, or will they be able to deal with the issue via live chat? Or do we need to plan to spend forever on the phone and hope we are passed to someone who knows how to deal with the issue?

Glad to hear you found your missing watch! I could not find any form online to fill out. In order to remove a blacklist, the original owner must contact Verizon to request the removal. If you call, you're probably going to get someone overseas who may not be able to handle it. Your best bet is probably to send a private message (use the envelope icon in the top right, works like email from there) to @vzw_customer_support asking for the best way to reach someone who can remove the blacklisting. They will need the IMEI and proof of purchase tied to your account, so you don't want to do this publicly in the forums.
I suggest doing a factory reset on the watch if you haven't already done so.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
