Verizon disconnected my plan while i was a loyal customer for over 20 years, when i told them to pause my plan and they disconnected it, they told me i lost my number for good, i spoke with them for dozens of hours, emailed the CEO, contacted the FCC twice, as well as the BBB, I basically gave up, when they told me its impossible because its over 50 days that it was disconnected and they gave the number to someone else as well.
Thank god the guy canceled his service after 2 weeks so the number was put in the aging numbers. (basically just a number that Verizon has that is just sitting not being used)
I found out that if i make a new service i can request any full Verizon number that is aging, (unlike when you make a plan and request a number you could only request the first 6 digits) so that's exactly what i did, after a few weeks of going back and forth i got my number back.
once that happened I quickly ported my number to At&t, and canceled my Verizon service.
So after over 20 years of me being on Verizon and then they disconnected my number when it was they're fault, I'm done with Verizon for good.
If anyone has the same situation please let me know in the comments.
