HELP! 2FA has gone mad

I'm currently somewhere between horribly frustrated and laughing out loud at the predicament I'm in. My car was impounded with my phone in it, so I have no access to my phone currently. I have an old phone I would like to use until I can get my phone back, but I need it activated., I try to login to the website and it asks for a code via two factor authentication. I try to use the chat feature to explain that I have no access to the code, but the chat keeps demanding that I login. And so begins the maddening loop...I've asked for a live agent, I've tried every other avenue I can think of to contact verizon and this is my last hope. I do not have a functional telephone right now, so I cannot call in, I only have access to my laptop and an old, disconnected phone. Hopefully someone within the company will see this and contact me with a fix as well as fix the chat feature to allow a live agent without login.

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems accessing your account. 2FA is there to secure your account, but in cases like this, it can cause some issues. If you're unable to authenticate, we recommend going to a Verizon store with your photo ID and they'll be able to help access your account and get your replacement activated. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.
