How to disconnect a line that is voluntarily suspended

Hello,

I have a line on my account that has been in suspended status (at my request) for the last 3 mos. It is scheduled to be reactivated in 3 days, however I’d like to just remove the line from my account entirely. 

When I try to do this online, the only option I have is to reconnect. I don’t see anywhere I can cancel. The line is free and clear - no phone payments are due and I’m paid up. 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just get online with Verizon & tell them to disconnect it
