I have been on and off with this issue for the last 8 months with no resolution. I upgraded my phone but decided to keep my old phone number, which ended up locking me permanently out of my Verizon wireless account because it requires a phone number that came with the phone when it was purchased. I can't even log in to do payments, I have to use the one time payment portal. I'm not even able to see my account number nor change anything regarding that account.
Just spent another hour waiting in a chat only for the rep to talk off topic about my internet service and ignore my original concern of wireless access.
All I want is access to my account so I can see my account number and PIN.

Hello, jvg36, we know it's important to be able to manage your account. To make sure we're on the same page, did you create a My Verizon account previously? If so, what happens when trying to reset your password? Do you currently have a prepaid or postpay account?

I had made an account previously for my internet but the account for my phone was made at the time I received it. The issue isn't that I forgot my password, the issue is that the account requires a push to a phone number I no longer have access to. I have the account username, email, and password but without the phone number I am incapable of logging in. I'm not sure whether I have prepay or postpay.
