I have a LTE Network Extender which I would like to make closed. To do so I need to create a contact list, on the verizon.com device management page. However, I get this error:
Even though the number added is on the account.

The 'Managed Access' Feature has been non-functional for a while now.
As a workaround, you can lower the "Transmit Power" of the signal coming from the extender.
- Press the button on the left side panel near the screen until you see an IP Address displayed.
- From your computer that is connected to the same home network as the extender, type the IP address into the browser's URL bar and enter.
- Now you should see a login page. The pw is LTEFemto0000 (with the zeros representing the last four of the MAC Address found on the back label or the screen).
- Once logged in, from the left side menu select 'Settings' and then from the drop-down menu select 'Advanced'
- Uncheck the box for 'Automatic Transit Power Mode' and use the slider bar to set the desired range and select 'Save'

I saw that recommendation in the similar posts on the board, I would like to have the full transmit power available to cover my garage, yard, etc.
I saw that in other posts Verizon corporate sometimes contacts people to help set up the list.

Another forum member (not the one who responded earlier) who has used several extenders over the years has said the "closed access" thing hasn't been working for at least 2 years as of this post. Since nobody knows when or if it'll be fixed, you'll either have to decide between having a limited range on the extender, or potentially allowing neighbors/people on the street or sidewalk having access to your service.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Maria,
I am an Account Manager. When I try to complete the steps listed in the linked article I get the error displayed in my first post, even when using a number that is on the account.
