After being a Verizon customer for over an year, we  chose a new carrier. Out of the 4 lines used by the family, 3 were successfully ported. One line is still not ported or active because the device is still locked , due to some error in the system. We have been following up with customer service team from 01/03 and still there is no ETA or concrete answer on why the phone is locked and when it will be resolved. It is very frustrating to see that Verizon customer care team does not care about the plight of the customers ! We have spent many many hours chatting with the customer reps and calling up and trying to escalate the issue with the supervisors of the customer care team. We have been given multiple dates so far as the last date for resolution and looks like we are being taken on a ride. The person with the locked phone is now without a working phone number and no ETA yet on the resolution. What is the path forward?

Smi3, while it's disheartening to see you leave, naturally if there's something that needs to be resolved we want to ensure it is. Sorry you're having trouble with a locked device. I'm sending a Private Message so I can learn a bit more about what's going on.
