Hi Verizon team,
I’m writing to raise some concerns and suggestions about your login and authentication experience:
Face ID Setup Bug: I’m an Extended Manager on the account, but when I enabled Face ID, it applied my Face ID to the primary account holder’s login too. That’s a serious security concern and should be scoped to the individual profile, not shared across the account.
MFA Experience: The multi-factor authentication process is very frustrating, especially on mobile. It doesn’t support auto-detection of OTP codes like most modern apps. If you use the link-based login instead, it opens a new browser tab, and after authentication you have to manually switch back to the original tab to continue. This flow is outdated and clunky.
Password Manager OTP Compatibility: Please consider supporting OTP autofill from password managers like 1Password, Bitwarden, or iCloud Keychain. Currently, your app and site do not integrate well with these tools, which makes secure login more difficult.
These updates would significantly improve security and the user experience. Thanks for considering this feedback.

For a while, people couldn't even get the Face ID to work with the My Verizon app. But having an account manager's biometric credentials being tied also to the Account Owner's login is going to mess things up whenever the Account Owner attempts to login?
Another suggestion: How about incorporating MFA using an authenticator app? SMS short code texts are more easily intercepted either via "man in the middle" sort of attacks, or outright stealing of someone's phone number (SIM swap sc*m or fraudulent port out).
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
