We want to make sure you are able to manage your account. Could you clarify what you mean by device description? Did you register your number for My Verizon already?

If your phone is a bring your own device which you didn't purchase through Verizon, there will be no device description in your account. My BYOD is the same way. My account only shows the make/model of the phone and the IMEI but nothing else.
As for not being able to login to My Verizon, did you sign up on My Verizon using the create new account link? I have heard of instances where someone's registration got messed up somehow and all they got was a guest access account, which is not the real one. If your phone number is not linked to whatever login you're using, then you probably got a guest account by accident and someone with Verizon will have to de-register your My Verizon account so you can re-register for a "real" account using your phone number. I don't know why your user ID keeps changing. That's something you can do when you're logged into your account.

Why would my phone show one color on main page of app then a different color in communication preferences?
Why would I have 5 different name variations?
who can help me get official activation letter?
is it possible I only partially ported??

I can't answer your first 3 questions, but if your port isn't complete it will be rather obvious, because incoming calls will all go to voicemail because they will be going through your old carrier and not Verizon, and I don't think your phone would even ring. Plus, your old carrier would be billing you for service because of the inbound calls still going through them. Your phone should have gotten a confirmatory text when the port finalized saying something like "welcome to the Verizon network, your phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx is ready to use" or some such.

Hello and welcome to the Verizon family. To better assist, please tell us a little more. Are you using the same mobile number? Did you set up your My Verizon profile as the account owner or account manager/authorized user?
