I apologize if this was asked before, but I don't have time right now to piece multiple conversations together to get my answer.
I am looking into getting Fios for my property that I will be moving into.
I have the following questions about the 1GB internet access.
- How many ASK-MAE340's can be placed on the network?
- Can I connect my Orbi router to a ASK-MAE340?
- Can I connect my Orbi satellite to a second ASK-MAE340 and will the coax connection act as the backhaul path between Orbi router and satellite?
- Is there any advantage purchasing ASK-MAE340 instead of "renting" them from Verizon?
- Is there a requirement for the coax cable, the house was built 30 years ago?
Is there any suggestions or anything that I am missing. Long story short I prefer cables to Wi-Fi and would rather connect all STB's, TV's, and home PC's via a physical LAN cable instead of Wi-Fi, but in addition I want my Wi-Fi network to flawless when moving from floor to floor and the perimeter of the property.
Anything that I might be missing please feel free to comment.
