Comcast / Xfinity service is out frequently (yesterday for 24 hours) and another day 3 weeks ago. Why is there no Verizon service even if we have power, just no Xfinity cable or wifi service. As seniors, in a rural community, it is important that we have access not only for emergencies, but also to report outages. We have no Verizon service at all and should at minimum be credited for all the times we have no service. A post from another customer asked this question long ago and only response asked for their zip code. Mine is 98338 to help identify the area of outage

Do you have cell service thru Verizon? It sounds like you might have phone service thru Xfinity/Comcast which might be using the Verizon network but thru WiFi.
