Is there any way for one to keep their number while switching from a family plan to their own individual account in a circumstance where the owner of the account is not willing to give permission?
If not, what would be the best course of action for leaving the family plan and/or creating an individual account and then attaching it to their phone?

Two-Pointy We want to provide some information on your situation. You will need the account owner's permission to move your number to a new account unless you have been assigned as an account manager. You can start service on a new account and then have the number ported over to the new account at a later time if you're not able to get it done at the time of new service. ~Peter
