Once you port your phone number to another carrier, Verizon closes your account- no access!!
If you had a Verizon promo and it expired you have 0 access to change payment until Verizon gives Netflix permission even if you had preexisting service! Verizon has you hostage even if you call 10 times to verify cancellation lol You can’t access your account to verify +play services are cancelled!! I got charged for Netflix under Verizon and I contacted credit company for a new card number. My Verizon account has been paid in full by making Payment by entering into under closed account. Verizon took my money monthly and kept me in sos mode at home!! Shame on Verizon!! Be careful!!!

We're sorry to hear that you've left us, and I know I would want to be able to manage subscriptions myself. When your number that is registered to My Verizon is disconnected, those +play subscriptions can still continue. You will receive an email with steps on how to access My Verizon with a username instead. Please see the section "What happens to my +play subscriptions if I cancel my Verizon account?" here: https://www.verizon.com/support/entertainment-play-faqs/
Additionally, you can access your My Verizon with a disconnected account here: https://secure.verizon.com/accessmanager/public/c/fu/loginDisconnectedStart?goto=-Joseph

That is definitely unusual, as you are able to access a disconnected account even after it has been ported out. If you are having issues with the login portal, this could be due to a wrong password or number. If you have any questions, we can also help out through this channel.

No, I am completely certain that when I ported out for just a few days, I was unable to login to anything related to Verizon using the same number, password, etc. The reset password thing didn't work, and neither did the "sign in using a disconnected mobile account" link either. I think it is something with how we all have to login using single sign on access now. Can't even login to the forums only under my username as it gives an error message; have to do the My Verizon login.

Thanks for getting back to us, Doreen88. I'm sorry, we're unable to see attachments/images on this platform. I'm sorry to hear you were still unable to complete the sign-in process. To make sure we're on the same page, were you able to get the information you need when calling in?

@vzw_customer_support this was also my experience when I briefly left Verizon before coming back. I'm guessing the OP managed to create a guest account to login to the forums, because NOTHING works to get back into your account or anything attached to it if you only had one service with Verizon and then port out or disconnect service. Trying to use the "disconnected" account thing doesn't work because it looks like everything is now going through a single sign on (SSO) process and gives you an error message instead. Your IT dept. needs to address this.

Same thing happened to me. I had a Verizon mobile account for myself and a second line I'm paying for my mother. When I transferred my number line, it removed ability for me to access the account, including the 2nd line which I was paying for. When I tried to login using the second line number with my last name (as main payer and account owner) and zip, it didn't work either. When trying to use the disconnected line login, that didn't work either.
I am trying to connect via service on phone but have been hearing music for a while now.

Have you tried using your User ID associated with your account while attempting to login? It was reported elsewhere that apparently this works, but I can't confirm it. Some of the other login issues such as the forum login problems have mysteriously resolved over the past month or so.
If you have ported out but your mother still has a line with Verizon, I'd suggest that she sign up for a My Verizon account using her number. Even if you are able to sign in somehow, I'd have to think your part of the account is going to get deleted at some point in the future.

Has anyone been able to connect to the disconnected account?
