Password reset process broken

Yet another post about Verizon's broken password reset process...

I try to sign in, my account i locked, why is it locked?  I have no idea.

I initiate a password reset using my phone number to verify.

I get a text, "click this link to reset your password."

I click the link "your request has timed out"

I start the process over, pick same options.

This time I get a white popup on my phone "someone is trying to reset your Verizon account password, please click here for more info and to approve."

I click the link, it takes me to a page to login, I try to login, your account is locked.

I start the process over again, pick the same options.  Get another text with reset link, click link "connection timed out"

I use another browser, same problem.

I go to the chat help,  ask to be connected with a live agent, "sign in to speak with a live agent."

This is fun.
