I purchased a new iPhone through Verizon and have been trying to transfer my fiancé’s number from her parent's account to this new phone for weeks.
After daily calls to Verizon support, and multiple visits to different Verizon stores we are precisely nowhere.
Yes, we watched the transfer account responsibility video in the help center. Yes, her parents have authorized the transfer. Yes, I received the email with the transfer request, pin, etc. Yes, I followed the transfer process. Every time it fails.
After several attempts we were told that the SIM card in her Pixel6 was outdated and needed replaced. Which required several more authorizations. We received the updated SIM card, took it to the Verizon store and it didn’t work when it was installed. They obviously couldn’t help and had support call us…again.
After another lengthy call with support, we were told that the SIM card order was blocking the transfer and it would take 3-5 days to override the order… the one we were told we had to have to make the transfer work in the first place.
So, now her parents are paying for a line, I’m paying for a phone and a line, none of which seem to be working correctly.
I need to find someone at Verizon with, 1) the knowledge of how to transfer responsibility for the number from one account to another and 2) the authority to actually make it happen, not give me another excuse or random answer that seemingly causes more problems.
please help…

You mentioned your fiancee has a Pixel 6, but you bought an iPhone to transfer her service to. Is the Pixel 6 paid off? Because if it isn't, maybe the issue is you must pay off the old phone completely before the number can be transferred to the new phone, or else you have to take the Pixel 6 and the number on it in order to assume responsibility of the whole thing in your account. If the Pixel was purchased as a device deal where the customer has to stay on the deal for 36 months and is currently under another person's account, it's a contract which has to be settled somehow.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
