Whenever I log in to try to manage my service (add or remove services, manage my internet speed, etc) I get an error message that says “Please contact the Verizon Local Business Office”. I am rendered unable to manage my account online. I have tried a variety of browsers and devices, and the issue persists (I get this error on Safari iOS, Chrome iOS, Safari MacOS, Chrome MacOS, Internet Explorer on Windows Desktop). I have called on the phone multiple times and I am told by the agent they see no issues on their end
While researching about this issue online, I can see that a lot of people have the exact same problem (so this is not an isolated incident) and that this has been a persistent issue for years. Despite this, there has not been a systematic solution to the problem. Every post where this issue is brought up is dealt with individually, which doesn’t help the rest of the community.
Could this issue please be escalated so that a fix can be put in place for all customers. It’s critical for consumers to be able to manage their accounts online, and it’s especially ironic that for my Verizon internet service, I am not able to manage my account online and I need to call on the phone to do so.
