Possible attempted fraud or spam

I received a call today that my phone thankfully screened for me. I suspect it was a fraud attempt to make me think someone added phones to my account. I haven't received any emails or text messages from Verizon stating my account has accessed as I know that works as it does so every time I log into my account to pay my bill. Has anyone else gotten similar calls? The phone number had a 603 area code if that is helpful.

If no unrecognized phone orders have appeared in your Verizon account nor is anything strange going on with your bank account, then this call was a sc*m. I haven't gotten such a call, but such things are random and the number was likely spoofed anyway.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
