I've been a VZW customer for years both mobile and Fios. Lately whenever I try to login to MyVerizon the system insists on sending a verification to my wife's mobile. We have four mobile phones on the account and none of them are mine. They belong to wife and kids. Two-factor authentication is turned off on all four lines and never was turned on. I used to be able to login using email verification but this seems no longer possible. And every other business I deal with lets me authenticate via text to my own non-Verizon cell phone or an authenticator app or via email. Only Verizon has this system. Is there some way to turn off two-factor authentication for login to my account? According to account settings two-factor is already turned off on all four Verizon mobile lines.
