Real Assistance?

I'm having a terrible time trying to contact a live person at Verizon. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm going to have to drive over 50 miles to a Verizon Store to simple update my payment method before my next payment is due this month. All I can get is a run around chat and the stupid AI system that is no help whatsoever. I'm already looking for a different cell service provider, this is ridiculous. 

I try to sign into my account, it takes me to a secret answer page, which I couldn't remember, and it won't allow me to change anything, won't accept my address which hasn't changed, and this is so frustrating I want to throw the phone.

Can anyone offer a number where I can talk to a live person please?
