Return Equipment NOT Sending Return Box/Label

So I moved in April and did the right thing and informed Verizon that their Verizon 5G Home Internet would not be working at my address. The first rep, canceled and said she mailed the return box to the old address that was never received. I called a second time and requested another return box.... AGAIN this person sent to the old address. Third time I called and I SAID PLEASE send to the new address, NEVER received. Fourth time, 200.00 was added to my bill for equipment NOT being returned. Once again, I called and ANOTHER REP said they were sending another return package and that as long as I return it by the 24th I won't have to PAY the 200.00 SOOooooo you are telling me that

1. I can't get an address and I PAY to send it to you.

2. I get charged 200.00 For no fault of my own because Verizon doesn't have the ability to accept equipment at a location. Even Spectrum does that!

3. If I don't pay then you send my account to collections and my service is interrupted. Sounds like a call the CFPB is in order. This is the not on the shoulders of the consumer to solve your business problem. I have filed complaints with the USPS as well as mail is just now forwarding. They stated that it can take up to 30-60 days to forward mail, and what Verizon doesn't take into account their partners (USPS) SLA agreements with mail forwarding.

This is absolutely a shame! I guess AT&T it is.

Hello, lanwalk1. My apologies to hear of your experience as it is never the goal to upset or disappoint you like this. Help is here as you did do the right thing in letting us know the service would not work at your new address. Let's work together to ensure we get you the return label and ensure no incorrect charges are listed on your account. I have sent you a Private Message.

I am having the exact same issue. It has been a month, and three boxes were sent to wrong addresses. Please also help me.

If you are still able to login to My Verizon, you can print a return label from your account.  If however, the home internet service was the only Verizon thing you had and you've cancelled it, all your account access has been revoked and I don't know what to tell you.  Sadly, you're not alone because there are huge discussions elsewhere in the forums of people who cancelled service and are going around endlessly with not getting any return kits.

Why Verizon cannot either allow limited access to accounts after service is disconnected, or else give us a shipping address(es) for equipment returns published somewhere on the website is beyond me.  You can use a box of your own to package equipment.  Getting a UPS return label shouldn't be THIS big a deal.  Verizon do better.

I completely agree. I have offered many times to pay to have it shipped, but there has been nothing. Every single company in the world provides shipping labels via email, text, and so forth. I personally think this is because they offered people 200.00 gift cards and it is a way to recoup the marketing costs. I will be reporting to Consumer Protection for misleading behaviors. It is sad that something so easily fixed loses a customer forever.
