How do I help Verizon support understand that my internet is, for all intents and purposes, down?
My connection can go to certain parts of the internet, but I cannot access Google.com or intuit.com. For most members of my team, this is as good as the internet being down, but I'm met with nonchalance when I speak to support about it.

Are you saying that google.com and intuit.com are failing DNS queries? It sounds like a DNS server issue where the server has a database glitch and needs to be reset/reloaded. Seems when talking to support, you need to insist they escalate/transfer you to the next level support.
