Hello,

   On 12/9/23, I received a text from 899000, "Your account settings have been successfully updated.  If you did not make this change, please call 1-800-922-0204".

   I have not made any changes to my account settings since 11/24/23.

   No one else has access to my account.

   I logged in and reviewed my account settings and I did not see anything that had changed.

   I called 1-800-922-0204, but I could not find any number-menu options that addressed this topic, and I could not find a way to talk to someone.

   Can anyone advise me on what to do?

Update:  I got a second text from VZW about 24 hours later saying the same thing.   That prompted a trip to the local VZW store.   Maybe solved,  with the help of a knowledgeable person from that store.

Using the version admin tools, they could see that both texts had the following reason: "Exclude from SMS has been updated".

A little more research yielded that I had got a marketing text from VZW recently, and it had said "Reply Q to stop getting these".   I had replied "Q".

So it appears that because I opted out of VZW marketing text messages, a day or two later that opt out was recorded in my account, which then generated the "Your account settings changed.  Wig out if you didn't do this".

Still not sure why I got two texts, and maybe I'll get more?  If I do I'll update this thread.
