Service issues

I switched to Verizon 2 years and 4 months ago - this is relevant to my complaint.  I switched because they are supposed to be “the best” and they are anything but. After transferring over, I found out my previous carrier used their towers. So I needlessly switched and doubled my bill for awful service and customer service. 

I have never been able to get a solid signal in my apartment or even immediately outside in my neighborhood. I often cannot make calls, people can’t hear me or calls drop/Facetime stalls and SOS is often displayed. I have called numerous times over the years and cannot emphasize how terrible the customer service is. Most recently ( past 3 months ) I have reached out and spent hours on chat with reps who are all willing to “own my issue and get it resolved to my satisfaction” and yet nothing has been resolved. I was only just told that I am “just outside our network” and I should purchase a wi-fi extender. I was and am livid.  This was never disclosed and is shady business practice. I offered a resolution that comes down to monetary reimbursement - as I have had less than half the service every month- and each time, the agent transfers to another agent and another and another.  I was told the amount is a lot - NO KIDDING imagine me paying for this terrible service in and outside my apartment while u employed for almost 2 years- I responded that VZ is a multi billion dollar company and it is a drop in the bucket as it values its customers and ensures their satisfaction - or so they claim. Needless to say, after 4.5 hours on chat a few weeks ago, nothing was resolved and I was transferred multiple times. I am unable to leave my co tract without paying exorbitant fees. I will never use VZ for any products ever again and can’t wait for my contract to end
