Struggling signing in on the Verizon app

"Oops. Looks like something went wrong. Come back later to complete your request." this is the error message trying to setup and login into the app I've tried many devices and times of days. I went in and showed someone at the store location i bought my phone from and he said to update my phone and it'll likely fix it. Updated my phone and did not fix my issue. When I go to login it, tells me signed in as a guest and gives me the option to update profile which i presume is to fully set it up. I click update profile and brings me to a page where it asks whether if i want to use my account number that i received through mail or my phone number that the device is registered too. Next, it asks for my pin and zip code so i enter that in and it wants to send a auth code to my email or phone number and I click one and send code but the error message "Oops. Looks like something went wrong. Come back later to complete your request." pops up I have tried account number, phone number, resetting my password, updating my phone, different internet connections, all different options allowed, and I still receive that error message. I'd like to not have to go into the store every time I need to pay my bill.

Also, when I sign in to the app, I input my sign in information and the error message for that is "Sorry, this service is only available on Verizon.com    My Verizon app doesn't support this feature at the moment. To access it, sign in to the Verizon website from a web browser." which led to the rabbit hole stated above.

Hello, grandgt763. Having access to your online is a must. Help is here. My apologies if I missed this but are you logging in primarily via the phone application or have you attempted to log in via a computer?  Have we attempted to complete de-register the account so that you can re-register for it?

What happens if you use the "Create New Account" link on the My Verizon login and attempt to create a new account as if you'd never signed in ever?  If the website or app is saying you're signed in as a guest, whatever access that is isn't your account actually and trying to input your account information isn't working probably because guest accounts have very limited access rights.  If you can't create a brand new account, then something got corrupted when you first created your account and CS or tech support would have to de-register it first so you can then re-register.

If you have extremely strict privacy settings on your computer browser or phone and/or using a VPN, would suggest lowering the security settings to "normal" and turning off the VPN as that may have caused your first registration to not go through properly.

I have tried different phones and computers all on different network connections. I have not attempted Verizon de-register and re-register my account.

I have tried lowering the security and I do not have a VPN. I shall try creating new account I understand your thought process I was thinking that but I didn't think it'd work so I didn't try it

like a couple minutes since responding, I have tried doing under my same email and would not accept it as the email is registered already to verizon

Where did you find your account number? I'm struggling to find this, but what I can see is that I need this to succeed...thanks! 🙂

When they send in paper mail it should mention it on the piece of paper. for me it was in the middle of text or something. they say top right hand corner normally.

I'm a prepaid customer, but was with a competitor as a postpaid customer briefly.  In my experiences, I couldn't see my actual account number until I registered my phone number (I'm guessing this is for cell phone service with Verizon you're asking about?) with My Verizon, or in the case of the competitor, when I registered either my email address or phone number with their member account login system.  If it's a Fios account you're asking about, don't know.  You can always try calling Verizon to ask if you can't access live chat.

We want you to have access to all the information associated with your account. The account number can be easily found at the top of your monthly billing statement. Are you able to access this information? ~Geo
