Switching from personal to business account- possible?

I recently moved into a rural area with no land line internet in another state.  Looked on verizon but they had no residential service for the area for LTE or 5G.  Need a reliable internet source for computer repair and part ordering for my side gig.  Looked at hotspots, but those are hit or miss for me (and I hate them anyway.) My neighbor suggested that I apply for a business account.  Spent about an hour on the phone with customer service who told me I qualify and that business internet with a router was available for my area.  She started the transfer process, to which I got an email to transfer service.  I tried to do it through the email link and it wouldn't transfer me as the SSN's were the same (it seems she did a transfer of account from individual to individual instead of personal to business, and she then transferred me to a business rep who told me I didn't qualify.

So am I or am I not?  Not saying anything bad about current Verizon hotspots, but I stopped using portable internet devices such as the hotspots due to reliability and cost issues a few years ago and prefer "beefier" systems such as routers which stay in a fixed position and don't have to worry about batteries and other issues.  And cost is another factor...   If I was forced to use a hotspot, my bill would be about $200 a month for service to the hotspot (with less data per month) for a cell phone and hotspot plus data plans vs $144 for a business account with higher data limits (a level I wouldn't reach anyway) with a piece of equipment I trust more.
