I'm having the same issue. My phone suddenly died and I'm out of town. I want to login to add a different device to my account but it won't let me login to do that or even to contact customer service if I don't have my cell phone to authenticate. Please post a public solution.

It's never a fun experience when a phone stops working while you're out of town, Imbylsma. Especially when it is used to help authenticate your My Verizon sign on. If you last signed in using a push notification, that is the only option that would be avaialble. The great news is we can help, but need to go private to protect your information. Please be on the lookout for a private note from us.

I lost my phone and want to find a way to replace it but I can't login since I DON"T have a phone. I tried using Contact Us but that needs me to login and verify using my phone that I do not have. Very frustrating.

Hello, brownsck. So sorry to hear of the lost phone. Rest assured, help is here. For your online My Verizon account, you do have the alternate option to have the code sent to your email address listed on the account or have it sent via USPS Mail. Lastly, there is the option to visit a store location for assistance on replacing the device. They can check for upgrade options or to see if there is insurance on the line. https://www.verizon.com/stores/
