I recently purchased a Samsung A 54 that carrier is Verizon. From someone on marketplace. Stupidity I didn't check to see if the phone was paid off fully. The phone is unlocked so I had full range to factory reset it an put my info in the phone. But when it came for me to make a call. I couldn't, due to the simple fact that the phone rightful own didn't pay it off. Mind you I do have my own Verizon sim card and my service is active. How do I come about getting this phone usable under my account?

RitaLara918, we're terribly sorry to learn of your situation, and are happy to shed some light on this for you. If a device has not been fully paid off, it will be put on a non-payment list, which will blacklist the device. The only way for the device to be removed from this list would be for the original owner to reach out to us, and satisfy the device balance. If this is not a feasible option, we would recommend getting in touch with the third party you used to find out if a refund or return exception is possible. We hope this helps.
