Has anyone had success dealing with a damaged utility pole on their property? I am now seven months in to a saga with Verizon. I contacted Verizon in Jan. 2023 about a pole that was damaged and leaning in storms. The new pole was set (with some light property damage to my space), the electric company hooked up their lines, and I've been waiting for months for Verizon to unhook/rehook their lines, and remove the old pole (which is now tied to the new one and blows around every time there is a storm).
I've tried calling Verizon multiple times. After going through 30 minutes of prompts, I get promises that someone will call me to address this issue, and they don't. This is ridiculous. I don't want to worry about this old pole falling on my house every time it storms. Beyond that, I don't want to bother repairing the damage they did since they're going to come out and damage more in the process of removal, presumably. Can someone PLEASE escalate this?
