Verizon app push not working

My phone service stopped working so Verizon fixed it but we had an issue with my Verizon app not working after the reactivated my phone. The rep unregistered my phone number and I registered again. Now when I login to Verizon.com from my computer it no longer sends a push notification to my Verizon app. Worse yet the website says I need verification and provides me every other phone number on the account for that verification except mine which is the account owner. So essentially I pay the bill etc but need someone else to let me into my account. Any ideas

I'm sorry you are having these difficulties when using the app or our Web browser. Does this happen on other apps as well? Are you listed as the account owner online or an account user?-Joe

Nothing of help to offer here but Iโm in the same boat as you. Looked out of my account because the system wasnโt sending my 2FA text when I tried to login. So I kept requesting them - eventually they all arrived at the same time some two hours later. Then I was locked out due to requesting too many pins. Customer service unregistered my account and had me start over. Still didnโt fix the issue, had to wait until the 24 hour waiting period was up. Absolutely absurd.
Over ten years as a customer and itโs becoming more difficult justifying the premium price of my monthly bill when customer support and service is severely deteriorating. I used to be happy with my service because it always worked, and if I needed help, it was resolved quick and easy.
At this point I may as well port my numbers to some third rate company with equally terrible service and support.
if anyone with any *actual authority* (leadership) at Verizon is reading this - get your ship in order.

Having access to your account is always important. When did this issue start? Is this issue only with the messages for your Verizon account?
