Verizon automatically hanging up on me

For the last 2 months at least, the first time I call into Verizon for help the bot hangs up on me. I push all the buttons to get to customer service, it tries one last time to con me into getting help through a text message like it always does and sends me the text, makes me wait until they are sure I'm not going to click on the text message, and then says, "Thank you for calling, goodbye" and hangs up instead of connecting me to customer service like it used to. I have to call every single month for an adjustment so I am quite used to the system and the last 2 months it has done the same thing. Something is wrong and is not being fixed.

What about using live chat via My Verizon instead?
