Verizon customer service

As a long-term Verizon customer,  it brings me great dissatisfaction that I would not recommend Verizon services to anyone who’s looking for a phone provider. In fact, I’m researching new phone providers for myself as I typed this. On June 25, 2024, I experienced the most distressing,  dissatisfying,  mediocre, un regrettable, unacceptable and unsuitable customer service I’ve ever experienced from any company. I’ve spoken to many representatives, and asked them to document everything from our conversations in the phone notes, and absolutely no one successful did it. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was denied because the representative said, “I did not need to talk to one”. Since when was it the representative decision to make if I was allowed to speak with a supervisor or not?

Angelah2, I'm disapointed that poor experince is making you consider leaving us. Naturally, that's not something we want to see happen, and I want to help ensure whatever issue you contacted us about is resolved. I've sent a Private Message, so we can do that.

I totally agree. Ive been with Verizon for over 18 years and this has to be the worst customer support I've ever received. All I wanted was to purchase a pair of JBL ear buds online while also using my Verizon Dollars. I was having difficulties with the purchase, so I gave the chat assistant a chance and from there everything went wrong. Not only did the purchase never go through but they lost my $80 in Verizon Dollars and tells me that they don't handle that. WELL WHO DOES? Verizon customer support blamed Verizon Visa which is just a credit card company that's controlled by Synchrony. I will never purchase anything from Verizon again. I've been contemplating going else where, might as well pay far less and expect this type of customer service.
