Verizon owes me money

Verizon has owed me $172.06 since February 13, 2022. I have called customer service on at least 4 occasions. They sent me to the store. I went to the store twice they do not offer cash refunds and directed me to call customer service. I have paid interest on this money once already. They literally just continue to direct me in circles and refuse to refund my money. They charged my card for my device payoff and said it was declined. I then paid cash. The charge ok my card went through. They refuse to give me a cash or card refund. I have receipts for everything.

I have privately contacted the company through store and phone on several occasions. Spending hours on the phone to be told Verizon acknowledges that I was double charged for my phone pay off. They have assured me they will not be making the situation right and they will not be refunding me neither the cash nor the credit and I must go through my credit card company. It’s absolutely foul. The company has literally stolen from my pocket like a petty little thief. The way they recognize the issue and refuse to correct it just shows that my patronage is just a number and I am completely not valued as a customer. It’s honestly gross.
