Verizon support bot keeps texting me

Several days ago I contacted Verizon to ask a question about my account and ended up chatting with something that said it was a live person but sounded and acted very much like and automated bot. It did however answer my question, and that’s where the big problem started.

it went into some kind of endless loop sending me the same message over and over. So I closed the chat. Now I keep getting text messages saying “we have more information for your request.” Along with a link to Verizon to send them details about my request. I wrote on the form that my request has been resolved. Then I immediately got a text on my phone the next available live person will be on to help. I reply I don’t need help. And on and on it goes. Just when I think they understand the issue is resolved and a couple of days pass and I get another text.

This is all getting very annoying. And I’m starting to wonder if there are actually any real people working in Verizon support. How I get these text messages to stop?

Can you just text back "stop", or blocking it?

Thank you for the reply. I  tried texting stop to no avail. There are also some text messages from Verizon that I want to receive. I’ve also verified on my account the ticket is closed yet they keep on pestering me. Overall other than this one issue I’ve been a long time happy customer.

Whisper3d, that's a strange problem, but we don't want to keep pestering you about a conversation you don't need anymore. I'm sending you a Private Message so we can get to the bottom of this and get those texts to stop.
