Why I Will Be Leaving Verizon For Good

I will be leaving Verizon Wireless after nearly 20 years of being a loyal customer. Starting in 2021 your (VZW) customer service representatives made changes to my plans to "help correct my issues" as they put it  - "it will help you get better coverage" they said. Ever since that day, the coverage on each of my lines has completely ******. I lose calls, slow data, calls go straight to VM because they never get through, have to connect to wifi in most places to even use my phone. 5G is a joke. There is nothing premium about my data plan. And now there is no other options with your company. Turns out, all of those months that your CSR were making excuses and telling me that they were submitting the letter to have my plan switched back - it was all just to let the clock tick out because of course after so many days there's no way for them to switch you back to your original plan. 

Now in 2023 you completely did away with having a basic plan for calling only. So, my only option for a basic phone (the only phone my 89 year old mother can use) is to pay to have a data plan on it or have prepaid. Your CSR says - well sir you have been paying for the data on that phone for years (yeah, I know, because you suckered me into switch away from the easy cheap plan that I was grandfathered in on). You can see the history of that phone numbers (that she has had for over 20 years) it's never used data.  Oh and of course there is no option to go back to my old plan.  And now you increase the cost of that plan. This is the last straw for me. I will be going to one of your competitors ASAP.

I could keep going about how ridiculous the VZW automated service is, and then there is the user-UNFRIENDLY website of yours.  Sad!
